The legal representative, presenting evidence, outlined the criminal behavior to the judicial body.

She informed the proceedings Ruben had played this game with the boys "for many years", and youngsters had previously become sick the next day.

She said Ruben had been successful in rationalizing this repeatedly as the children being "overwrought by enjoyment", until his stepson had concerns in recently.

Mrs Prior KC added: "In the summer" his stepchild had suspicions about the activities, for good reason.

"They resolved" to investigate in the individual's items."

Mrs Prior KC explained items including infant oil, petroleum jelly and syringes were found, and his family member alerted the law enforcement about his concerns.

She said the defendant proceeded to engage in the "treat game" with six youngsters that time - that Saturday - and they were all sick the subsequent day.

"The police had not arrived by that point," she continued.

The regulatory agency, the investigative body, previously told that it was reviewing law enforcement's management of the situation.

Mrs Prior said the minors were having difficulty walking due to being ill, so the stepson notified the authorities a second time.
